Every breeding decision needs lots of thinking and discussion. One of my most frequent partners in these discussions is Annika Bergquist and from 30 of May she is also a part of Agrosofens kennels. Welcome Annika! We have more than 20 years of toller experience together! We are both very active dog owners and are members of the Swedish Kennel Club, the Swedish Spaniel and Retriever Club and the Swedish Toller Club. Read more about our dog life below.

Helen and Kea

My name is Helen Häggström, my proffession is Agronomist, specialized on animal breeding and genetics. I am also certificated as a high-school teacher (subject: farming).

I bought my first dog in 1990. She was a toller and her name was Zaidvorens Bonita ("Bonnie"), a bitch with very firm opinions. In 1992 she was accompanied by Rödahunds And-Ida. At that time I was a student, and because Bonnie neither liked to work, to live in a student room, nor she liked to get another dog in the family, I decided that it was better for all of us if she moved. I found a nice home for her on the countryside. Instead a black lab got into the family. Her name was Saga, and unfortunatley she got artrosis. She is now living with my parents. 1995 I took my and Ida's first litter, and the first born got the name Agrosofens Rödlöga and stayed.

I have trained and started dogs in hunting tests, top obedience, tracking, search-and-rescue, agility, and conformation.

Foxy Farm's Petrolina of Butch - Obedience Toller of the Year 1995

Annika Bergquist is working as a purchaser for Svensk Byggtjänst's Bookshop and she is also a passionate birdwatcher. She was brought up together with a poodle, but the first own dog was a Jack Russel terrier called Jesper. Originally he was living in a english family where Annika was au pair, but they weren't much of dog people. So when Annika went back to Sweden she brought him with her.

The first toller contact was an article in the swedish dogmagazine Hundsport, in the beginning of the 80's. It was about the first European tollers which were living in Denmark. Annika became interested and 1989 Alma was introduced to the family. Unfortunatley Alma got meningithis and was sick a lot during her first year. She was also affraid of loud noices and it was difficult to run her in competions. As Annika wanted to a dog to compete with, she was looking around for another dog. This time she chose an Australian Kelpie. He arrived in 1991 and was namned Cefeus Pan, a k a "Pluto". Pluto had too much of temperament and finished his days in 1993. Annika realized that her breed was the toller and 1994 Foxy Farm's Petrolina of Butch came into the house. Annika and Lina has competed in elite obedience and tracking and theyb have trained search-and-rescue and searching for people. Lina was from the beginning co-owned together with her breeder, but is today Annika's own. Lina has had two litters at Foxy Farm's kennel.
